Fast, Flat & Windy
A tour around Germany's most beautiful island! Your opponents? Only you, the wind, and the weather.
Unparalleled moments await you: Through the nature reserve around Germany's northernmost point at Ellenbogen, along the Wadden Sea, accompanied by the tides, through the ports of List and Hörnum, Sylt life in Keitum, solitary moments at Morsum Cliff and Rantum Basin, and the bustling life in Westerland. All in one race.
With 12 refreshment points where the communities and Sylt businesses present themselves, you'll be well taken care of.
The flat course invites you to pick up the pace, but be careful: Even a stiff breeze can sometimes feel like 1,000 meters in elevation.
The North Sea Ultra Marathon is a UTMB® World Series Index Race.
Asymmetric Relays
The North Sea Ultra as a 2-person or 3-person relay – 111 km, stronger together.
The special thing about the North Sea Ultra relays is that they are asymmetric – the relay legs are not equal in length. This allows runners of different abilities to participate together and provides a great introduction to ultra distances.
3-Person Relay
